The Talent Search Group at PiP is seeking a  Senior Professional Learning Advisor (US Southeast) on behalf of our client, the leading provider of  high quality professional learning services and resources for K-12 educators across the globe. 

The assigned territory is the US Southeast.  Candidates must live in one of the following states: OH, KY, TN, WV, NC, SC, GA or FL.  Base salary range for this position is $92K – $115K, plus sales incentives and an excellent benefits plan.

The Senior Professional Learning Advisor is responsible for 

• Successfully planning, executing and reporting on sales of k-12 PD services and resources at the District level within the assigned territory.  
• Developing relationships and prospecting new business with clients in the territory, including district administrators, principals and school leaders, regional associations, SEAs, and Professional Development institutions.  
• Being a consultative sales advisor to PD administrators on how to incorporate various PD resources in their district PD plans.  
• Driving the proposal writing process for districts
• Working closely with the Client Engagement Manager (CEM) counterpart to manage renewal business and ensure best possible client partnership experience
• Collaborating cross-divisionally to provide market insight

Qualifications

• 6+ years of K-12 sales experience; experience creating and growing a multi-million dollar sales territory required
• Strong knowledge of K-12 education industry required 
• Knowledge of publishing industry 
• Ability to leverage existing client relationships and contacts to grow market share. 
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred; Education degree and/or BSBA preferred. 
• Must be comfortable with travel up to 25% on average throughout the year
