Partner in Publishing is on the lookout for an experienced intermediate-level Copywriter to join our content team. Specializing in marketing within educational technology, we collaborate with industry leaders worldwide, crafting compelling content that inspires and educates learners across the globe.

We’re searching for a candidate with a marketing background, whose expertise lies in the craft of copywriting. This individual should confidently tackle projects with minimal guidance, producing refined, compelling content that requires little rework. As an agency that values adaptability and creativity, we expect you to navigate the intricacies of each client’s tone and brand voice, seamlessly transitioning between multiple client style guides throughout the day. The perfect fit will also possess a knack for campaign development, assisting us in brainstorming and crafting winning strategies to present to our clients. Given that our lead copywriter is based on the West Coast, we are specifically seeking a candidate residing within the Eastern or Central time zones who can accommodate collaborative workflow requirements.

As an agency, we engage with an array of clients, each with unique needs and preferences. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as one of their primary points of contact. You’ll take ownership on every aspect of copy and content development for your assigned clients. This means being deeply invested in their success and ensuring that every piece of content reflects their brand identity and messaging goals accurately. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling and engaging copy across various platforms including websites, social media, print materials, email campaigns, and more.
  • Ideate and develop complex campaign strategies for clients, writing content for all assets and deliverables across platforms. 
  • Translate client objectives and brand identities into creative, persuasive copy that resonates with educators, students, and stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of projects from conception to completion, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction while consistently delivering high-quality work.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including designers, marketers, and account managers, to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Foster strong client relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or marketing environment.
  • Proven track record of producing compelling copy for diverse industries and target demographics.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in adapting tone, voice, and style to match various brand guidelines and client preferences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone to accommodate a collaborative environment.
