The Talent Search Group at PiP is searching for a Regional Sales Manager, K-12 Education, for the Southeast US region, on behalf of our client, the leading provider of language learning products in K-12 and Higher Education.
Candidates must live in Florida and be comfortable with significant travel through the year.
As Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast K-12 team, you will leverage your industry and people-management expertise to cultivate a team of Language and Literacy Sales professionals as they work to achieve the next level of success. Your expert coaching, territory planning, sales skills and K-12 adoption expertise will provide guidance on development and execution of the overall sales strategy for the company’s suite of print and digital products.
Candidates must have
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years successful consultative sales experience selling both digital and print based products within the publishing, education product/ technology (ed-tech) or similar industry
- 1+ years’ leadership experience managing and developing both remote/field-based sales team members and other people managers with a strong ‘player-coach’ mentality (must have managed a team of at least 3)
- Experience using a CRM, analyzing sales data and creating accurate regional forecasts
- Exceptional strategic thinking, prospecting, planning, presentation, negotiation, relationship building, territory management and active listening skills
- Consistent track record of year over year sales territory growth (as a rep or manager)
The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of multiple languages (Spanish or French particularly).
SALARY RANGE: $120,000 – $140,000 + sales incentives
