The Talent Search Group at PiP is working with the world-leader in scientific research and education video resources for Higher Education and Research Libraries.  We are seeking a Director of Sales  to oversee the sales operations for the North America Higher Ed market. 

This position reports to the SVP of Revenue.  Salary range is $140-150K plus commission.

Responsibilities

  • Take leadership of established regional sales teams across US and Canada 
  • Direct and coordinate the sales activities of the team to generate new opportunities in the company’s largest single market 
  • Develop sales talent to prepare the next generation of Account Managers for the growing line up of STEM video titles. 
  • Manage a large book of renewal business 
  • Meet and exceed the assigned sales targets in the Americas 
  • Monitor buyer/influencer motivations, competition, and sales cycle to determine focus of sales efforts. 
  • Coordinate with the marketing, customer success, and sales development teams to expand our business year over year. 

Requirements 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5+ years of direct experience managing a sales team 
  • 10+ years of experience in sales 
  • Good working understanding of higher education market across region 
  • Experience working in education technology is preferred
