As the organization continues to grow, our client is seeking a talented and competitive Account Executive to drive new business opportunities within the Nursing division. This role will work closely with the Team Leader to expand the institutional B2B business through direct outreach. The ideal candidate will be a skilled relationship builder with experience securing bulk purchase agreements and institutional partnerships with colleges and universities within an assigned territory. This position is focused on the Pacific Northwest region, and candidates should be based in Oregon (OR) or Washington (WA) to effectively support the territory and maintain strong relationships with institutional partners.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of five years of sales experience.
- Previous experience in education or publishing is preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to convert prospects and achieve sales quotas.
- Experience in opportunity qualification, account development, and time management.

Job Responsibilities
New Account Development (80%)
- Research and identify sales opportunities within assigned territories.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting and lead development.
- Collaborate with the Customer Care team to process quotes and close sales.
- Forecast sales performance and evaluate sales strategies.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline through email, phone outreach, trade shows, and inbound leads.
- Execute email campaigns to generate additional opportunities.
- Manage post-sale activities and support customer retention initiatives.
- Share market insights and customer feedback with sales and marketing teams.
- Conduct presentations, demos, webinars, and meetings with decision-makers.
- Attend conferences and trade shows to engage with prospective customers.
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and follow-up actions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.
Team Collaboration (20%)
- Partner with the Marketing team to maintain customer data and market insights.
