The Regional Sales Manager strategizes and secures sales of the company’s AI-driven literacy platform for K-3 learners in California, Arizona, and Nevada. This is a hunter role, so the RSM is focused on identifying new business opportunities and pursuing them with urgency. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the education market, exceptional sales acumen, and a passion for improving student outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Grow assigned territory by into new districts (greater than 5k students)
- Build and maintain a strong network of decision-makers and district leaders
- Employ a challenger sales mindset to all customer facing discussions
- Use the CRM (Salesforce) to maintain detailed reports of sales activities and provide periodic territory sales pipeline information and revenue estimates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years experience and success in K-12 sales, selling complex solutions to large districts
- Experience and success in a “hunter” / new logos role
- Strong understanding of the K-12 market.
- Able to navigate complex processes at district and state levels
- Ideally, experience in supplemental / assessment sales in K-12
- Must live in California and be comfortable with significant travel
Salary: $110-130K + sales incentives and benefits
