The Talent Search Group at PiP is seeking a Senior Product Owner, K-12 EdTech (US) on behalf of our client, an EdTech supporting K-8 literacy with an AI-powered tutoring platform.
The Senior Product Owner is responsible for guiding the success of 1–2 products and leading the associated scrum teams, acting as the “voice of the product,” ensuring clarity of priorities, quality of delivery, and cross-team alignment. This role does not have direct reports: rather, the Product Owner leads by influence—energizing and coordinating engineers, QA, and design to deliver impactful products at startup speed.
This role requires deep product knowledge, strong documentation, and relentless accountability for delivery. Successful candidates must be hands-on, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

Must-have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in SaaS or Edtech (ideally in a start-up environment.)
- Demonstrated success leading scrum teams without direct authority.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver at a startup pace.
- Experience with Agile software development and backlog management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Computer Science, Education) or equivalent experience)
- Preferred: Experience collaborating with external stakeholders (partners, educators, or state-level organizations)
This is a remote role. Candidates must live in the US.
