Language & Literacy Sales Specialist, K-12 (Southeast TX)

The Talent Search Group at PiP is searching for a Language and Literacy Sales Specialist, K-12 (Southeast Texas), on behalf of our client, the leading provider of language learning products in K-12 and Higher Education.

Candidates must live in Southeast Texas, ideally the Houston or San Antonio area, and be willing to travel throughout the territory without restriction. 

Salary: $80k-90k plus sales incentive 

In this role, you will 

  • Deliver impactful, engaging and customized digital and in-person presentations showing how the company’s solutions help teachers and educators overcome challenges to achieve learning outcomes
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key K-12 education professionals and stakeholders
  • Uncover and attend networking and sponsorship events throughout the territory to increase contacts and build brand awareness

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum
  • 1+ years of experience in a consultative sales, account management, or business development role with a successful track record
  • Strong technology orientation and experience presenting and/or doing demonstrations to a variety of audiences in-person and virtually
  • Experience using a CRM to manage sales activities and accounts (ideally Salesforce)
  • A willingness to travel, overnight as needed, within the territory to events, conferences and customer sites
  • Ideally a working knowledge of the Spanish language
