About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Associate UX Researcher/Designer to contribute to design and research initiatives for our client. This hybrid role involves a 70/30 split between research and design, making it an excellent opportunity to develop both skill sets. The ideal candidate is curious, empathetic, and detail-oriented, with foundational knowledge of UX research methodologies and design principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews.
- Support the creation of user personas, journey maps, and service blueprints.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and designers to implement iterative design testing.
- Contribute to design efforts by creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual concepts.
- Present research findings and design recommendations to internal teams in a clear and concise manner.
Required Skills:
- Assist in designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews.
- Support the creation of user personas, journey maps, and service blueprints.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and designers to implement iterative design testing.
- Contribute to design efforts by creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual concepts.
- Proficiency in qualitative research methods such as contextual inquiries, card sorting, and persona creation.
- Basic knowledge of quantitative tools and methods, including survey design and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD and research tools such as UserZoom and Dovetail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate insights effectively.
- A growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Qualifications:
- A portfolio showcasing research and design work is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in UX, Design, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of applied UX research and design experience.
Location: Remote.
Type: Part-Time, Up to 20 Hours Per Week.
Pay Rate: $50-$80/hr.
