Partner in Publishing is searching for a Vice President of Sales and Marketing (K-12) on behalf of our client, a leading content and platform provider for language learning in K-12 and Higher Education. This role is remote and in the US.
The VP Sales and Marketing provides leadership, vision, and hands-on management of the K12 Sales strategy and organization, driving growth and transformation through market and competitive insights, salesforce data, and financial information to identify and capture revenue growth opportunities.
The VP of K12 Sales and Marketing is a strong manager, mentor and team builder, has a collaborative approach, and is comfortable being both tactical and strategic.
The VP
Provides vision, leadership and management for the next stage of growth of the K12 Business
Partners with the GM and Senior Team to identify key issues and opportunities, strategy development, and decisions facing the K12 business
Increases the precision, rigor and consistency of K12 revenue strategy, management and execution
Develops and leverages expert knowledge of the company’s products and offerings to develop innovative, high impact, targeted marketing strategies
Attracts, retains and develops top talent within the teams
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
15+ years of relevant sales management experience
Significant track record of success developing, managing and executing revenue strategies
Strong learning background and experience with publishing, education and or ed-tech markets
Experience with technology based products
Excellent team building skills, proven results building, motivating, coaching and leading highly-effective teams, across levels, in agile environments
Thrives in business building environment with changing priorities and revenue goals accountability
