Partner in Publishing is searching for a Field Sales Specialist, K-12 (Florida) on behalf of our client, a leading publisher for language learning products for K-12 and Higher Education schools and universities.

WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT? As the Field Sales Specialist, you will join the East Region team in building relationships, gaining an understanding of Florida K-12 customer challenges, and then bringing them product or program solutions.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Deliver impactful, engaging and customized digital and live presentations that show how the company’s solutions can help solve a school or district’s challenges and help them achieve learning outcomes
  • Exhibit a consultative selling approach in order to consistently close business and achieve sales quotas 
  • Network and develop a strong understanding of a customer’s needs within the assigned territory
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key K-12 education professionals and stakeholders
  • Partner effectively with internal teams in an effort to provide customers with an excellent experience 
  • Utilize the CRM and other tools to build a territory database for effective analysis, planning and account management
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the company’s products and programs
  • Keep in tune with relevant and territory specific market trends and report findings to sales management

YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum required
  • 3-5+ years of experience working in K-12 world language or ESL education or sales experience required
  • Knowledge of or experience in the K-12 state/district adoption processes required
  • Strong technology orientation and experience presenting and/or doing demonstrations to a variety of audiences virtually (GoToMeeting, Skype, Zoom, etc.) and/or in-person required
  • A willingness to travel within the territory (30 – 50%) required

IDEAL IF YOU (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)

  • Familiarity with sales processes, sales-related activities, account management, or similar business development experience
  • Experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce) or similar tool 
  • Speaking multiple languages, including Spanish 
  • Excellent relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with K-12 ed-tech, publishing, language learning or similar products

LOCATION

Remote: This role requires residence in the state of Florida and a willingness to travel throughout that area. Candidates must meet this requirement in order to be considered.
