Partner in Publishing is seeking a Customer Education Manager on behalf of our client, a K-12 EdTech supporting school safety and management.   This role is located in the US (remote).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small and growing company (~40 people right now) where you can help lay the groundwork as it scales.  

Role overview  

As the company’s first Customer Education Manager, you’ll be responsible for all customer instructional content, all in-product copy, and other customer documentation. This role is a hybrid of a Technical Writer and UX Writer.  

You’ll work closely with engineering, product, design, and customer success teams to make the product easy-to-use and empower users to find solutions themselves, driving down support cases and making customers love us.  


  • 4+ years of industry technical documentation writing & UX writing experience Impeccable English writing skills, including correct grammar, syntax, punctuation, and spelling 
  • Ability to consistently transform complex technical concepts into clear, simple instructions
  • Excellent prioritization skills (ex. looking at search queries, connecting with cross-functional leaders, etc.)  
  • A portfolio with writing samples.  
  • Preferred: Experience in K-12 and in a fast-growing start-up
